Cookie Policy

Last Updated: April 6, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how KwikSheet ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies on kwiksheet.com (the "Site").

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to store information. Related technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage, which allow websites to store data directly in your browser. Unlike traditional cookies, localStorage data is not sent to the server with each request.

2. How We Use Browser Storage

KwikSheet takes a minimal approach to browser storage. Here is a complete list of what we store:

Name Type Purpose Duration
ks-theme localStorage Stores your dark/light mode preference so the Site remembers your chosen theme between visits. Until you clear browser data

That's it. We keep things simple.

3. Cookies We Do Not Use

KwikSheet does not use:

  • Analytics cookies — We do not use Google Analytics, Plausible, or any other analytics tracking service.
  • Advertising cookies — We do not run ads or use ad-tracking pixels.
  • Social media cookies — We do not embed social media widgets that set cookies.
  • Session or authentication cookies — There are no user accounts on KwikSheet, so no login cookies are needed.
  • Third-party tracking cookies — We do not allow any third party to set tracking cookies through our Site.

4. Third-Party Resources

Our Site loads fonts and icons from external services:

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) — Serves our typefaces. Google may log standard request data (IP address, user agent) as described in their privacy policy. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
  • Cloudflare cdnjs (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — Serves the Font Awesome icon library. Cloudflare may set a __cf_bm cookie for bot management purposes.

We have no control over cookies or data collection by these third-party providers. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.

5. How to Manage Browser Storage

You are in full control of your browser storage. Here is how to clear localStorage data in common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear Browsing Data > check "Cookies and other site data"
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data > Remove for kwiksheet.com
  • Edge: Settings > Privacy, Search, and Services > Clear Browsing Data

Clearing localStorage for our Site will reset your theme preference to the default (light mode). No other functionality will be affected.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Since KwikSheet does not track users in the first place, we naturally honor DNT signals — there is simply nothing to turn off.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we add any new storage technologies (for example, if we introduce analytics in the future), we will update this page and change the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to check this page periodically.
